Ngày 07/05, bà Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo – Giám đốc Khối Quản trị Điều hành EVF đã tham dự hội thảo “Enabling an Environment for Private Early Childhood Education and Care Expansion in Vietnam” do IFC tổ chức, cùng thảo luận các giải pháp tháo gỡ khó khăn tiếp cận vốn cho khối mầm non ngoài công lập, đặc biệt là doanh nghiệp nhỏ, siêu nhỏ và doanh nghiệp do phụ nữ làm chủ.
The seminar brought together domestic and international experts, policymakers, iNGOs, local NGOs and financial institutions. Representing EVF, Ms. Thảo joined discussions on improving capital access for the private early childhood education sector, which is playing an increasingly important role in Vietnam’s socio-economic development.
In practice, many private preschool operators, especially small and micro-sized businesses led by women, continue to face major barriers in accessing financing. Challenges extend beyond financing costs to include collateral requirements, legal procedures and limited access to information.
From the perspective of a flexible financial institution, EVF believes these constraints require financing solutions better aligned with the operating characteristics of small and micro enterprises.
Accordingly, EVF is capable of providing financial solutions with streamlined procedures, competitive costs and more flexible assessment mechanisms, focusing on cash flow, operational efficiency and credit history rather than relying solely on collateral assets.
Expanding access to capital for small and micro enterprises, particularly women-owned businesses, would not only support private preschool operators in upgrading facilities and improving education quality, but also contribute to the development of the private sector in line with Resolution 68 of the Government.
Through financing solutions tailored to practical business needs, EVF continues to reinforce its role as a responsible financial institution accompanying the private sector in its sustainable growth and competitiveness journey.
